The aims and objective of this Association are to encourage the art and science of marksmanship throughout the State particularly among the civilian population as a healthy sport, which will also serve the purpose of self- defense.

Karnataka State Rifle Association has three types of Memberships for the shooters who want to join KSRA.

The Memberships are

• Donor Membership – The fees for the Donor Membership is Rs. 3,50,000 (Rs. Three Lakh Fifty thousand) & above + 18 % GST
• Life Time Membership – The fees for Lifetime Membership is 1,50,000+100/- (One Lakh Fifty Thousand One Hundred only) +18% GST
• Temporary Membership – The fees for the Temporary Membership for person of the age of 18 & above is 50,000/- +100/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand One Hundred) +18% GST
• Junior/Student Membership – This is a yearly Membership the fees for the same is Rs. 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand One Hundred per Year) +18% GST

Requirement for the Membership

• It is compulsory to complete the Civilian Rifle Training Course with Karnataka State Rifle Association.
• The person applying for the Donor Membership should get the police Verification done.
• Donor Member should complete four sessions of FIREARM TRAINING.
• The application for membership should be submitted together with the prescribed fee and three (3) passport size photographs of the applicant.

Civilian Rifle Training Course

The Civilian Rifle Training Course (CRTC) consists of 6 Classes which are conducted on the weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday only) The aim of the course is to provide the basic training in the safety measures to be followed while handling the weapons, on the range and introduction to the sports shooting techniques and rules. This course has been made mandatory by the Commissioner of Police, Bangalore, for procurement of Arms License. After successful completion of the course, a certificate will be issued. This course is also compulsory for obtaining membership into K.S.R.A.

Requirement for joining CRTC

• Minimum Age for joining the course is 12 years. Less than 12 years are not admitted to the course with the KSRA
• The applicants above 18 must do Police Verification.

Documents Required for joining CRTC

• Valid Police Verification Certificate (Obtainable by online application through Seva Sindhu website)
• Birth Certificate
• Address Proof
• Bonafide Certificate from School (Original)/ Work place
• 2 Passport Size photos
• ID Proof

Once we receive the verification reports the applicant can come & join the course. At the time of Joining they will require to bring 2 Passport Size Photos.

The Admission fees to join Civilian Rifle Training course is Rs. 10,148/- (Ten Thousand One Hundred Forty Eight only) inclusive of Taxes Other than the admission fees the applicants must pay for Ammunition & Range usage as per the session which will approximately cost Rs.3,000.
